1945年のアンヌプリ

今ではアンヌプリの山頂には簡単に登ることが出来ますが、戦争中、そこで戦闘機の着氷実験が行われていたそうです。

高空では、プロペラや翼に空気中の水分が凍りつき、飛行機に深刻な影響が出るためです
倶知安風土資料館には当時のゼロ戦の翼が展示してありました。

学芸員の岡崎さんという方にお話を聞いたところ、まだ、当時のケーブルが山頂に残っているとのこと、そしてそのケーブルは本当にまだ存在していました。
